Looking for Just the Right Replica Pub Furniture for My House

There’s nothing I love more than entertaining and having friends over, and recently I decided that I needed some home bar furniture to better facilitate this endeavor. Because I love to have new and fun drinks at my parties every time, getting a home bar really makes sense. Of course, I have an eclectic sense of style with my interior design, so I needed to find a home bar set and bar stools that really match my existing furniture pieces.

I like art deco style, with a slightly dark and masculine touch, with various pieces of black leather furniture pieces incorporated into the design. The best way to describe it is that it’s kind of like a house you might have seen in the thirties, with dark and bold colors and low lighting. I needed to find home bar furniture to match this, but this is not an easy style to find! I wanted to find a dark mahogany type of bar with leather swivel bar stools, because that’s what I pictured in my mind. I love those glamourous days of the twenties and thirties, and the furniture and artwork in my house reflects this affection I have for art deco.

Along with my leather swivel bar stools and home bar or trolley, I also wanted to get some fun framed poster artwork from the same time period around this new area. I don’t think I can afford the originals, but I could get reprints of the fun and famous artwork of George Barbier and Paul Colin. If I could find reprints with touches of red in them, I think it would look really good with a mahogany bar and black leather bar stools. I have a whole vision of how I would like my Art Deco bar area to look, now it’s just to find all the pieces!

When I didn’t find what I was looking for in my usual furnishing stores, I decided it was time to take my unique taste and requests online. There are many specialty stores online, and I found the perfect home bar furniture and artwork from retailers there. Thank goodness for the internet, because it helps bring rather rare sought after merchandise to eccentric collectors like myself. My home parties have been a blast since I got my new circa thirties pub furniture.
