Quality Product
Coffee maker was as advertised. Quality is great with respect to price. The pot pours nicely without drips, the filter basket stops 100% of the flow when the pot is removed before the brewing is complete. My only complaints are that it doesn't come with a reusable filter (it should in order to be environmentally conscious) and the display is a little difficult to read if the room is not well lit.

Good coffee maker, but I miss the LED type clock.
Why a 4 cup coffee maker instead of a 10 cup or 12 cup model? I noticed that larger coffee makers simply don't make as strong a brew for smaller amounts of coffee as a 4 cup coffee maker. I think it has to do with water flow rates and basket sizes. They also tend to lack markings for making just 2 cups of coffee. This smaller coffee maker also saves counter space!
I've had this coffee maker's previous model revision which served me well for quite a few years. It survived twice daily use, until just recently when the plastic hot water tube cracked and broke off. There are very few coffee makers on the market that are both 4 cup and have delayed brew/auto shutoff features. Naturally I saw a picture of this coffee maker on a amazon and hoped it would be exactly the same. It is except for one thing... They replaced the LED (green light up clock radio type digits) clock with an LCD clock (unlit digital watch type display). The new display is much harder to read and requires a source of light to be readable. The old coffee maker could be read anywhere in the kitchen and doubled as kitchen clock. This new clock is only suitable to set the timer and nothing else!
Oh well! But at least it still makes a good pot of coffee!

great coffee maker for the price
This is a great little coffee maker. It's small, doesn't take up space on my counter top, and makes the perfect amount of coffee for one large travel mug. The timer works without any problems. The only issue which I have seen in other reviews is the clock keeping time. However, in over a month, I had to bump up the time one minute only once and it's really easy. Just push the minute button and done. It makes great coffee, no offensive odors or tastes. I would definitely recommend this coffee pot to any friends.

It's amazing how many companies produce coffee makers, how similar they look, and the enormous quality difference. This one works and doesn't have a major defect that I can cite. Something more perfect would probably cost more, so I'm convinced this is the best purchase if you want a 4-cup capacity.
Most of what I know about coffee makers is a result of making unfortunate purchases. Some are extremely difficult to pour without spilling and this one is ok. Just use your thumb to lift the lid and you'll be ok with regard to pouring.
I'm through with coffee makers that don't automatically shut off. I like coffee but dislike burnt coffee. You might not have this problem especially since this is only a 4-cup capacity, but it's something to consider.
When you buy a coffee maker, think about the artistic quality of the design and try to avoid those that have a high-design appearance. The more artistic and unique it looks, the more likely it is to have a functional defect in my experience. It is not easy to build a better mousetrap but it is possible to build one that merely looks better than others. Mr. Coffee avoids these things and sticks to what works for most people.
This is a simple and inexpensive coffee maker that will serve one to two people well. The best result is you don't even notice the coffee maker because it's working fine.
