Coffee, Tea and Honey Favors for Baby Showers

Baby showers are a great time for celebrating a new life that is on the way. They are also a time for all the female members of the family to get together and have a good time, no matter where the celebration itself happens to take place.

But while the mother to be will no doubt receive some wonderful gifts from the guests, it’s also nice for her to give a small token of thanks to the people who attend. The good news is that there are a wide range of unusual baby shower party favors that you can give in this situation, without breaking the bank in the process.

If you're looking for baby shower favor ideas, party favors for baby showers often involve something that is either blue or pink, or has some connection with babies, such as a party favor in the shape of a baby’s bottle for example. But supposing you want to do something a bit different? What should you do then?

One solution that is becoming more and more popular is the idea of giving coffee, tea or honey favors. Coffee and tea both come in neat little sachets that can add a nice finishing touch to any table setting, and if you are planning to eat out in a restaurant you can easily pack them into your bag and add them to the table when you arrive, thanks to the fact that they’re nice and light.

The great thing about the sachets is that they come in a wide range of designs. One good example is a sachet which features a cute baby and an equally cute saying written next to it. There is also room for a personalized message at the bottom, revealing whose baby shower it is and the date of the celebration.

Not all sachets have a photo on them though. The message on the sachet of Colombian coffee beans featuring a cute teddy bear, a bath duck and a baby’s bottle is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. What does the message say? Quite simply, it says that a baby is brewing!

Tea baby shower favors come in many of the same designs as the coffee favors, and with prices as low as just eighty cents each you could even stretch to one of each of tea and coffee for each guest. They provide a nice antidote to any alcohol consumed during the evening, or they can simply be taken home and perhaps even kept as a memento.

The honey baby shower party favors come in small jars which look delightful on any table, and with plenty of opportunities to have a play on words when it comes to bees (such as mommy to bee, for example) these are a wonderful and unusual addition to any baby shower.

The jars come with either blue or pink labels, but if you don’t know the sex of the baby you can opt for one of the other designs, such as the modern art design of a pregnant woman or the animal quilt design in pastels.
