how do i work my mr. coffee?
so i got a mr. coffee coffee maker from my uncle (with no manual of course) and there does not appear to be a brew button or switch, only a sliding selection between fill and brew reg or decaf. It says that it is a speed brewer and has a reservoire that stays hot at all times. so I added water to the reservoire and set the slider thing to "brew regular" and nothing..... so how does it know when to brew? How do I get this almighty mr. coffee to make my coffee? any ideas?
It will brew once the reservoir if full AND you add additional water. Keep filling the reservoir until you start getting water to come thru the filter basket. Then wait 10 - 15 minutes for the reservoir to heat up, add your filter and grounds, than add another pots worth of water from a separate container to the reservoir fill.
