Bunn CWTF series coffee brewer temperature problem.?
I work for a bookstore, and in our cafe we have a Bunn CWTF15-APS series airpot coffee brewer. The problem is that it will not heat to 180 degrees, which is the temperature required for properly brewing our coffee. It will only get as hot as 140 degrees. We just replaced the limit thermostat and tested the inline thermal fuse. We also tested the voltage for the tank heater and it was incredibly low, despite the fact that everything else seems to be functioning properly. Any ideas or information would be highly appreciated.. Thanks. :]
Put one lead of your voltmeter on neutral and leave it there. Then use the other lead to find where the heater voltage is getting cut off.
The power switch must be good if everything else is working. If the pot warmer is working the heater switch is good.
The ready light is accross the thermostat, so if it's lit it means the thermostat is cutting off power.
